Wonderful new by-product of TED

Pangeaday is a non-profit project to get people telling stories on film and sharing them.  In 241 days the most compelling films will be showcased at events in major cities across the globe.

This I like. Very Local. Very Neighbourhood, including a flickr group:
maybe, just maybe, there’ll be a few more postcode districts across the UK (there are 2,900 of them apparently) that’ll decide to follow suit, and then things really could get interesting!
